2011 Wedding Expo!

The last couple of weeks have been pretty hectic around our kitchen. We just completed the 10th annual 'Wedding of a Lifetime' Wedding Expo and are preparing for Taste of the Grand Valley on Monday, February 7th. Overall, we would have to say the Wedding Expo was a success. The event was held at Two Rivers Convention Center in Grand Junction, Colorado on January 30th, and the turnout was great. Our day began at 5 am with loading decorations to transform our empty booth space into something magical; however, we began preparing display food for the event on Saturday afternoon; although, the majority of the food was cooked just hours before the event began. Our approach this year was to create tables which were themed to popular songs. This gave us the opportunity to showcase some of our creativity as well as give the general public a small taste of some of the many things we can create. To accompany our tables, we provided food samples of some popular menu items for individuals attending the event.
